In addition to overseeing the processing of workers’ compensation claims, the Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) offers judicial and administrative support to help settle conflicts that may emerge in relation to workers’ compensation benefit claims. 

The goal of DWC is to lessen the negative effects that work-related injuries have on California employers and workers.
